Therapist Information and Services

I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) in New York and Connecticut. I am also a national certified counselor (NCC). I am currently a doctoral candidate for my PhD in Mental Health Counseling in Westchester, NY. I received my Masters in Mental Health Counseling at Yeshiva University and my Bachelor of Science at Fordham University. I am affiliated with the American Counseling Association and the New York Mental Health Counselors Association. I have presented on burnout in the workplace and self-care methods.

I see a client, not a disorder. I come from a background in empirically-supported techniques but I tailor my work to each individual who walks into session. I am comfortable with a variety of theories and believe no one theory fits all. I believe the relationship between therapist and client is of great importance and create a safe, judgement-free space to build a positive dymanic.

I provide individual, family, and couple counseling to clients of all ages. I work to understand complex issues that arise for individuals as each stage of life and have experienced success with children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and the elderly.

I specialize in working with trauma including domestic violence and sexual assault, military deployment, first responder distress, and disaster.

Areas clients have experienced improvement include:

Mood disregulation

Existential and spiritual issues

Trauma and posttraumatic stress disorder

Grief and loss

LGBTQ clients

Sexuality exploration

Career and work

Substance abuse issues

Family distress

Intimate partner relationships

Obsessive compulsive issues

Self-destructive behaviors
