Yikes. Was That Okay? Am I Okay?
We all struggle with self-doubt at some point in our lives. Some people live in constant doubt and worry. Others, the lucky few, struggle with doubt only when major issues arise. For most of us, however, self-doubt is a very natural course of every day life. Did I make the right decision? What will happen if I say the wrong thing? Am I good enough?

Self-doubt is not just about whether you embarassed yourself in public or gave the right answer when asked a question you don't know. It can go much deeper than that. Self-doubt can allow one to consistently feel that they are not intelligent, attractive, humorous, worthy, etc. It can inhibit one from being social or feeling good about him/herself. This is one of the most common issues we face as humans. Self-doubt often leads to inaction and inaction often leads to regret. It is important to be able to deal with self-doubt when it comes up so that it does not prevent you from doing what you need or want to do.
This article by Dr. Gregory L. Jantz, Ph.D., provides seven easy ways to deal with self-doubt. Each method has its own simplicity and is different enough from the next that if one method does not work for you, there are six other very different and effective ways to dea with your self-doubt when it arises.
