Happy Holidays Season (even if you don't celebrate)!

The holidays are upon us! This means something different for everyone. For some, this means a time of reflection on whatever one’s religion is and the values that it teaches. For others, it is a time to enjoy personal traditions and spend time with loved ones. For others still, it has little significance other than brightly lit lights around the neighborhood and discounted shopping. Whatever it means for you, make it a positive season! It can be the best time of the year for some and the loneliest for others. It can be a time of laughter and reflection or tension around the dinner table. It can be a combination of all of it! This holiday season, whether you celebrate Hannukah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, Bodhi Day, Ramadan, Yule, Boxing Day, Festivus, or don’t celebrate at all, do what makes you happy. Remember that whether you are theist, atheist, or agnostic, the holiday season can be a time to reflect on who you are and enjoy the beauty of the world around you. Take a look around this season. Have some hot chocolate. Enjoy a fire. Take a walk and look at the lights. Find the positives in your life and do something kind for someone. This holiday season, be grateful for what you have and enjoy the rest of the year!
